Built in 2000 by a leading international paper group, today driven forward by GSM.

Our Story

The mill in Kilkis was built in 2000 by a leading American multinational group, a leader in the paper industry, as a strategic investment to serve the markets of Southeast Europe, Turkey and the Middle East.

From its first day of operation, the plant was designed exclusively for the production of high-specification Coreboard, and it established itself as one of the leading producers for the paper tube, core and angle board industry across the wider region.

Starting with an initial daily production capacity of 60 tons, the plant was gradually upgraded through targeted investments and technological modernization, reaching a capacity of over 100 tons per day today.

In early 2026, GSM took over the operation and development of the plant, opening a new chapter in its history. Building on the mill's strong industrial infrastructure and the same experienced workforce, and investing in modern technology, the company continues to invest with the goal of producing Coreboard that meets the requirements of the most demanding markets.
